Our commitment to our children is one of utmost importance. Parents are charged with the responsibility of teaching our children and it is our duty as your Sheriff's Department to assist in any way possible. We know that peer pressure can sometimes be an overwhelming force that drives our children to try illegal narcotics and alcohol use. Family problems and abuse can be another. We pledge the dedication of our staff to the parents and children of Cameron Parish. Drug free children will have a brighter future for themselves and for our community.

Drug Abuse Resistance Education

Teaching our children through proactive education about saying "NO" to drugs. The D.A.R.E. program has helped thousands of children resist the temptations of drug abuse and give them the opportunity to live a clean life.
